Help SOS Safeguarding legislation

Hey guys, wonder if anyone can help me? I'm updating my skills ( ok work railed training lol) and we are doing level 3 understanding how to safeguard the well being of children and young people and I am over whelmed with the first section I have to do on legislation ...I'm stuck on analyse how national and local guidelines tv for safeguarding offect day to day work, and I'm stumped,not sure if it's cause it's one of the last outcomes I have to do...or if it's too early, please, can anyone help
