Help SOS CYPW Level 3 Diploma - Unit FC3 Promote Learning & Development

Hi All,

I am on Module 3 (c) of the Children and Young People's Workforce Diploma and I can't find anything in my Handbook by Penny Tassoni on FC3 "Support Positive Attachments for Children and Young People".

Can anyone point me in the right direction on where I can find material for Unit FC.

Thanks x

Hi, reading for attachment can be found on pages 315, then page 258, and page 70 to see how attachment changes through the early months of children's lives and what that might mean for the way you interact and support each child during those stages.

Supporting attachment so as to build positive relationships (page 153+) can happen through a key-person system if in England & work with EYFS or via your setting's approach to recognising the impact significant people have in children's lives eg. how staff member's work in partnership with parents, welcome and settle children into the setting each morning, say goodbye, celebrate life at home and engage in activities throughout the day that explore the world and self, meet children's health and hygiene needs, are respectful, considerate, listen to what children say through their spoken and body language, react and respond appropriately.

Link is to amazon.co.uk

Hope this helps a little xx
