Can someone help me please?!?!?

Hey,

can anyone help me with the importance of multi-agency working, and how this is implemented in schools.

Thanks

Hi Starry-eyed,

This is what I wrote, hope it helps

1.1 Explain the importance of multi-agency working and integrated working.

Multi-agency working is an effective way of supporting children, young people and their families as it brings together practitioners from different sectors and professions within the workforce to provide integrated support. It builds a team around the child and means that those seeking support are no longer passed from organisation to organisation and instead have a single point of access and contact. It also ensures that children and young people who are at risk can be quickly identified and protected.

Please refer to EYMP3-3.2 for other professionals and their roles, CYP35-2.1 for the importance of positive relationships and CYP33-2.3/2.4 for multi-agency and integrated working in regard to safeguarding.
