I already did this but hasn't been marked yet, but the tutor said it looked fine....

The framework for development of babies and children under three are to be strong, be a skilful communicator, competent learner and be a healthy child.
There are four stages of development as follows:

0-8 months
• Babies start to hold their head up by themselves, look around, respond and communicate with people by babbling.

8-18 months
• Babies start to sit up on their own, stand up unaided and explore everything around them. Their language skills start to develop as they listen and mirror other peoples words such as mamma and dada etc

18-24 months
• Babies start to become toddlers and move around more independently. Explore more things around them by touching and feeling different objects which will learn them about texture and colours.

24-36 months
• Children become more independent and confident as they get older by exploring all their surroundings. They get more confident with walking, talking and even start to run around when playing.

All of this will increase their language skills, communication skills and emotional/social skills for when they reach nursery age 3-4 years.

This is just a guide has babies and children develop individually, none are the same.

Hope it helps...
