cu1550 explaining how I recognise and build on children's strengths using different strategies?

hi I've tryed emailing my Tudor but have not heard back , can anyone please help me to get started on cu1550 1.1 explain how to recognise and build on the strengths of a child or young person by giving different example of positive strategies, is this saying , if a child can say a few words you help them to further their learning by extending the sentence ,eg: I have catties , you say " you have cats at home ,me too. Not sure if this is right, some questions are started to sound the same to me now i'm getting to the finishing line. THANK YOU

Hi yes :)

These are the positive strategies listed in the CYPOP15 unit consider how they reflect what happens in your setting and your own practice. You can then go on to expand on them xx

• adapting adult language
• adapting the environment to support communication
• modelling and expanding the child or young persons language
• demonstrating specific communication behaviours
• facilitating communication between children and young people
• providing time and supported opportunities to communicate
• supporting and developing confidence and self-esteem
