Hi all, im stuck on what to write here. Had a total mind blank and cannot find anything online to help.

Explain the importance of providing accurate and up to date information and advice to children and young people

Explain the role of practitioners in providing impartial information and advice to children and young people.

if you tell yp condoms are 100% effective are you telling the truth and is it helpful? how could it be damaging

Hi, the importance involves the duty practitioners have towards providing accurate & up-to-date information to children and young people and their right to it. This is how everyone knows the choices that are available to them, how accurate information enables informed decision making and helps with understanding any risks that might be associated.

The legal requirement for settings and professional practice is explained in principle 4 of data protection. An individual's right to accurate and timely information is contained in article 17 of the UNCRC and your home nation's early years framework will also hold regulation regarding taking, keeping, sharing data with others and destroying information.
