Thanks for your reply tutu...the unit title is - Support positive practice with children and young people with speech, language and communication needs.
here are the questions I need help on -
1.3 - Provide examples of how current research evidence supports positive practice.
2.1 - Identify and describe the different strategies and targets that can support children and young people's speech.
2.2 - Explain the process of how supportive strategies are selected and implemented to support children and young people's speech language and communication.
2.3 - Explain own role in the process of how targets are set, monitored and evaluated along with specialist
2.4 - Compare different examples of how strategies and targets have been used to support children and young people with speech language and communication needs.

Im sorry I know its a lot...but ive hit a brick wall and its like my brain does not work anymore :S

Hi, welcome to the site. The thread is 3 years old but the links members have used to research this unit are still active xx

Identify by asking your setting which strategies & targets they use to support the children's speech & language needs.

EYMP 5 links

EYFS communication, language and literacy

Development matters communicaiton

Best wishes

Thank you, I didn't even notice the date! There doesn't seem to be many recent threads relating to this Unit. I have some ideas now though so I'm sure I'll manage to get started :)
