Perhaps explain how staff working in early years settings are in a strong position to be significant and positive role models for children and parents and they should be aware of their responsibilities in the promotion of health and wellbeing

Discuss how staff can provide relevant information for parents on
matters relating to safe environments and prevention of unintentional injury.

Ask yourself...
How does your current practice ensure that you remain up to date in relation
to key health improvement messages?
How can you further develop partnership working in your setting to promote
healthy lifestyles?

How do you store the children's packed lunches?
What are your guidelines when it comes to any food prep?
Your setting will have policies on this.
Hand washing etc.
