Hi
Can anyone help me please, I had mentioned the EPPE but have been told I have not answered the question, 'Explain the impact of current policies frameworks and influences on the early years sector'.
Could you tell me where I can find the answer to this one please?

Thanks

Hi

This is what i wrote. Hope it helps?

The impact of current policies, frameworks and influences on the Early Years sector is that it is bringing everyone together as a whole. The Welfare and Rights of the children are now taken more seriously. Children are now able to play, engage in and express themselves freely and are being heard. With all groups linked together, working with the same child will mean that the child will learn more effectively. Information is encouraged to be shared with the children and families. Whatever their backgrounds, all children and families are now given the access to affordable quality childcare.

you have to identify a range of policies and frameworks and current practices and explain them. a framework is the eyfs you need to talk about it and talk about how it has impacted on practice. a policy could be something like ECM which bought about the children act or something simple like the free hours. how has this affected practice? and as for an influence something like free flow play? reggio emilio? MTP77 you haven't even begun to answer the question is it signed off??

Hi, welcome to silkysteps, this thread was started just over 2 years ago, the advice given is useful, 2.1 is just to identify the frameworks and policies, 2.2 is to explain what you identified

Best wishes xx

Hi, welcome to the site.

The search page will return a few results for these criteria. Enter 'influences on the early years sector' to look.

Government policies
- government's policy for children's places, funding
Local policies might be - admissions, methods of funding.
Frameworks depending on home nation eg. England EYFS,Wales FS, Scotland CfE
Influences - Tickell review, Nutbrown review, ECM, UNCRC, Equality act, milk schemes

Hope this helps a little, please contact your tutor to see if they have any guidance on what you ought to be researching.

Best wishes
