Default unit 400 theories and theorists

hi everyone im stuck on unit 400 1.1 I have to outline the theories and theorists that support child development

I have to write about cognitive, humanist, social learning, constructivist and behaviourist theories

does any one know when I can find information on these iv googled but each page seems to have a different description on each one and then some of these seem to be linked so theres a social learning behaviourist theory?!

im totally confused! I googled the cognitive theory and all that came up was piagets theory on it. however my first question says

provide an outline for the following theories and theorists: cognitive - Vygotsky and bruner

it says nothing about piaget in the question!
hope iv made sence any help will be greatly appreciated!

Hi, speak to your course provider and ask them to provide you with a list of recommended reading, check what support your tutor is expected to give and request copies of all you course's learner materials.

It's possible your work placement will have books that will help you research, if not there are books on amazon that you can use to gain a greater knowledge & understanding about theorists and their theories - linking theory to practice

Best wishes with your study xx
