Hi, social pedagogy is a holistic approach where a child's care, well-being, learning, development and their surrounding people are all equally important to a child's life now and for the future.

You can read about Jean-Jacques Rousseau in the theorist book How children learn -on amazon

History of social pedagogy on ThemPra

Social pedagogy 2011 on Guardian.co.uk and IOE.ac.uk

Who cares trust

Foster care and social pedagogy
