I am struggling with unit 306 3.3 Demonstrate ways of supporting inclusion and inclusive practices in own work with children and young people. I would be rely grateful for some help as this is my last unit to complete

Hi not sure if you still need the help but...
Can you think of anything you do to ensure a child in your setting has been included or provided and opportunity to take part? Such as if a child has a particular need like a dietary requirement and you are baking? Perhaps they have a intolerance for a particular food and you provide them a substitute for them still to have the chance a taking part in the baking?
Or if you are planning/preparing an activity, do you make sure the children doing it are able to? What steps do you take to make sure a child or children are given the chance to develop in all areas and not left out, because you haven't took the appropriate steps or put in the right resources they need to do so. It could be from providing double handed scissors if they lack in the skills to do so themselves to learning words/phrases from another language if the child has English as their second language.

I'm sure there are many things you do on a daily basis that demonstrates inclusive practice. But as is it a demonstrate, your assessor should be able to help and observe the things you do.

And

Demonstrate ways of applying the principles of equality, diversity and anti discriminatory practice in own work with children and hound people

hello I am new to silky steps so still getting to grips with it all. I have got a few more areas to cover on unit 306 and struggling on giving examples of how discrimination and prejudice can be experienced in a school setting when it comes to age and gender?????? I can think of example when it comes to adults ie females not being good enough for a males job and older people not getting employed. just can not think for the school age please help!! thanks
