Hi

This is my first time on here. I have a question which i am having a little trouble with any help will be appreciated.

christine lives on the fourth floor of a block of flats with her three year twins. Her husband has a chronic health problem and cannot get out very much. The lifs in the flats are often not working and when they do they are dirty and smelly.

It is a 30 min walk to the local shops abd community centre. The community centre has a sure start centre, which christine would like to use so that she could perhaps work part time, but she is too nervous to go. She worries that there will not be anyone she can talk to, and her husband is not happy at the thought of the children being looked after by other people.

1 what is stopping christine going to the centre?
2 how could she be helped to access the services at the centre?
3 what could be done by the centre to reach out to families like christine's?

Sorry if this is actually a really easy question. Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
