Hi, a positive environment is one that supports all aspects of development, children's learning and provides ways for practitioners to extend on that, challenging children and promoting times for them to rest. It also means an environment where parents, colleagues, all work in partnership to actively make opportunities for children to achieve positive outcomes.

This is from USA's CCDH - creating a positive environment

If you live in England part of EYFS explains 'enabling environment - 2012 publication pg 4

If you have access to a level 2 handbook and page 214+ will help xx

Best wishes
