HI,
Im just trying to work my way through this unit too!! its a killer!
K3M202 - this is all about keeping info confidential e.g childrens records kept secure and can be view by parents on written request. or say a parent tells you their child has headlice...you would keep the childs name confidential as it is sensitve info but would inform other parents or the presence of headlice. make sure you mention the Data Protection act 1998.

i dont have to do 203-207 as i have covered these through observations by my assessor.

K3D208 - for this one just write a paragraph on each assessment.
Formative assessment is ongoing
Summative assessment is an overall conclusion to an assessement e.g exam or test results
then write about how you use this in yiur setting and give examples

K3D209 - pick a couple of the exapmles given in the question eg diet, discrimination, play opportunities and write a paragraph on how each can influence the development of children.

K3D210 - research and choose a few theorists e.g Piaget and Montessori and write how their theories play a part in your setting. link this with K3D213

No problem at all, if i can help in any way i will try my best. I know whats its like when you read a question over and over with no clue on how to answer it. It can get very frustrating. If you need anymore help or hints feel free to mail me.

I did written questions on 203,204, 205,207,208,209, 210, 212, 213,214,216,
203 - Obviously the family link is important in your setting be it playgroup, school or if your a childminder as family background and situations can provide answers as to how and why the children perform as they do. Feedback to other workers ie teacher in your setting is important as they may require further outside bodies to help, ie speech therapist etc. This is all done with parental permission of course.
205- Activities should be suitable to age group however it is good to challenge the children to make further progress. This pushes their self esteem when they complete tasks etc.

213-I spoke about theorist in this section and 210 too.

209-Antenatal - how develops once born, malnourishment can lead to difficulties etc which in turn leads to low self esteem and confidence issues
Mothers who were addicted to drugs, children may under developed and require special needs help. Vaccinations are important when required in children.
Perinatal - Problems during labour etc and how this can affect child. Premature babies slower physical etc.
