Default Schools as Organisations - Understand School Ethos, Mission, Values and Aims

Hi, I'm new to this site (it has helped me so much already). I am currently working through Unit 302 and have hit a massive wall when it comes to Outcome 3 1.1 & 1.2. Any help would be much appreciated X

Hi, welcome to the site. This criteria relies on your research and knowledge of what schools are all about, why they exist, what they aim to do, who for and how ie. what goes on as an organistation.

It also relates direcly to your sschool setting as, although it will be compliant with legislation and regulation, it'll have its own view on how things are expected to happen - ethos, what the short and long term objectives are - mission and aims, and what it holds as most important - values.

Ask your school for a copy of it's prospectus, staff handbook and any statment statment of intent that it promotes to see what they say xx
