Default Professional Discussions

Hi,

My assessor is coming on Wednesday to hold professional discussion with me about our H&S, Safeguarding and Observation Procedures.
What should I expect, it feels liek I am going back to school to do an oral exam which I used to hate and panic over.
She has told me to write down some bits on a sheet as that will be the only record of what was said? Really?
Am I alllowed to have notes with me and a copy of out procedures to show her etc..
God knows why I am worrying so much she is also expecting me to have done indoor and outdoor risk assessments, completed unit 2 and 5 and gathered 3 witness statements from parents about my handling of transitions. No pressure then

it is like a question and answer session but relax make notes that you can understand and help you think, take your time when answering making sure you have what you want to say in your head clear first. make sure you read your policies this is 1 of the best ways of getting units signed of it like a verbal observation . this has to be recorded on tape or cd so see if your setting has a recoreder and the assessor should be taking written notes and making a recording. relax you can do it think of how much will be signed off .
