Default Thrown in the towel!

I've done it, I've quit!
I've just sent my assessor an e-mail quitting my nvq level 3. I'm not proud of it but my heart just isn't in it. I'm 42, I have two children and only work 2 days within a setting. I just can't get motivated and It's been a long time since I was at school. I love my job but it's just that, a part time job not a career.
Thankyou everyone at silkysteps for your help with what I've done so far.

ttfn Barb123

Thanks Tutu and Shaz for your encouraging words
It wasn't an easy decision or one that I took lightly.
I feel like a weight has been lifted just by sending the e-mail - haven't had a reply as yet
Good luck to you all and keep up the hard work.

Just remember that what you have already achieved on your Level 2 is not wasted, no learning is ever wasted! I'm glad that you realise that there's more to life than work. Anyway you're well qualified as it is with bringing up two children.
Best wishes for the future Barb

Do you have to pay anything towards the course if you quit?
