Hi There, I have to write a statement of a trip out with the preschool and my role and risk assessment. We actually don't go out, sadly, so I have to make one up. Has anyone got a good risk assessment for a trip to the supermarket or such like that I can adapt?
Thanks

Hi,
i also had a trip cancelled but got told by my assessor to write up on the steps leading up to the trip for example, parental consent forms, ratio of children to adults and what you would take with you, registar, contact numbers things for a coach trip (sick children etc). i also but the reason for the cancellation of the trip, and that it was cancelled due to health and safety reasons and a risk assessment was taken and it had to be cancelled because the snow and ice and wasnt safe to go. just write what would of happened and this should be fine.
Hope this helps!
Theresa

thats a shame that you dont get out. Are you not able to take even a small group just for a short walk to look at houses or whats around your setting? If its about ratio myabe you could get parent volunteers to help out?
