Hi, positive & negative reinforcement - the use of rewards/sanctions or consequences to modify and maintain a wanted or unwanted behaviour xx

Stickers
Star charts
Prizes
concept of ignoring unwanted behaviour
Privilidges that reward particular behaviour
Praise, encouragement, attention that also rewards a 'wanted behaviour

Behaviourist - J. Watson - little Albert experiment & phobia induction
and Burrhus Frederic Skinner - operant conditioning

Hth xx
