I'm so sorry Tina, I gave you NVQ 4 instead of NVQ 3. I feel a bit guilty,so I have found this site and hope this will help. Others may be able to give you a better site.

Default Optional units

Hi just wondering how we choose our optional units? Are there certain ones depending on which pathway you've choosen or do you simply discuss and choose then with your Tutor, I'm very nearly finished the mandatory and pathway units so would be interest to know what I'll need to research next. Many thanks

Certain combinations aren't allowed on the diploma. Check with tutor/assessor I say.

Hi i have just asked my tutor if i can start my optional units now because i would like to do the SEN and disability options because i am the INCO at work and at the moment until July i work with a child that i could be assessed with for both units because the child goes to school soon and alot of the units need to be observed. I thought you chose your optional units so that you cover the units that you would like todo and have interests in. I am discussing them at my next meeting with my tutor because unsure whether these two options can be taken together.
