Hi. I wrote the following:

The EYFS contains all the principles to help achieve positive outcomes for children and breaks them down into small units. The 4 main areas are: Unique child, Positive relationships, Enabling environment, Learning and development.

I also gave the meanings of Diversity, Equality, Inclusion and Participation. And listed the 5 positive outcomes for children.

My tutor has signed this off, so i hope it helps. x

Hi, England's EYFS came into force via a legal order - the early years foundation stage order 2007, made under section 39 of the Childcare act 2006 and serves as way for children to achieve the positive outcomes of ECM.

EYFS 2008 - pg 7 gives an introduction.

If you've encountered SCH 33 yet, it'll help knowledge & understanding forr promoting diversity, inclusion and equality - one thread for definitions and another

In contrast to supporting children, welcoming diversity, & recognising equality and inclusion - discrimination, prejudice, bias, steyotypical attitudes are negative experiences that damage children's outcomes.

The search page will find other threads you may find helpful.
