Hi,

This transitions can range from personal factors such as a bereavement or parents separating to a child moving class or school. A transition could also be a child entering your setting in the morning/separating from a parents care to the key workers etc. What would you offer in regards to positive relationships in these cases? It may have been a child was in distress when entering the setting and the parents leaving them there, how did you then help the child to relax as i'm sure you wouldn't have left them
Perhaps you can give an example in your written work on what you would do in those circumstances or if you can think of any real life experiences that has happened and how these has help the child. As the question is evaluate, as well as an example you would have to include how and why this has benefitted the child and the relationships but also what would be the impact (short term/long term) on the child, for example low self esteem, confidence, under achievement etc.

Hope this helps
