General question identify the different reasons why people communicate

Hi everyone have just found this page and was hoping you could help me out with unit sch21 identify the different reasons people communicate, I have'nt got a clue where to start, many thanks Bridgette

4.1 explain the term ‘confidentiality’

I would also add socialising to that list of reasons why people communicate. Sometimes we just chat with our friends about nothing in particular and as well as it being a form of communication, I think it also acts as a kind of stress-relief and can positively impact self-esteem.
