Default Frameworks to support development Help please?

The entire task says:

Explain how theories of development and frameworks to support development influence current practice.

I get the theories of development (biological, learning & psychoanalytical) and I am researching Pavlov, Piaget etc.

My problem is that I do not understand what it means by 'frameworks to support development'. No matter how many times I read it, it is just not sinking in!

Please please can someone out there help?

Thank you

Hi, England's eyfs is a framework that supports development. It's current practice and enables practitioners and settings to plan appropriate activities, provide opportunities, monitor children's development and ensures an environment and practitioners that care for each child's well-being

Page 263 of the EYE handbook explores what EYFS is all about eg. the prime and specific areas, assessment and observation, the 2 year progress check and working in partnership

For Wales', NI and Scotland's own frameworks for development - early years home nations
