Hi, how do you feel about diversity:

People from different backgrounds,
People's varying skin tones
People who practice different aspects of faith and religion
People who wear clothing associated with a culture, country, faith, religion
People who live with disability
People who were born in another country.

Do you value these or are you suspicious, cautious, resentful?

How do you feel behaviour that depicts/shows values such as these could impact on the way you work with children and young people?

Would the behaviour demonstate how well you value diversity, inclusion, equality, welcoming all openly?
Show you have a positive attitude or negative attitude.
Show a prejuduice, a discrimination, be steryotypical.

Why work with children from Wakefield.gov.uk

When children from the traveler community suffer prejudice it can lead to low self-confidence and self-esteem.

It can also make the traveler community feel segregated from 'mainstream' society, increase conflict and decrease integration and inclusion.

This in turn can lead to traveler children being deprived of an education.
