Tina Bruces theory of play includes 12 features these are:

using first hand experiences

making up rules

making props

choosing play

rehearsing the future

pretending

playing alone

playing together

having a personal agenda

being deeply involved

trying out recent learning

coordinating ideas, feelings and relationships for free flow play

Just found this on Ask.com

His theory was observational and socisl learning, he believed that you learn by observing what others do. He performed a famous experiment in 1965 which showed that children can learn behaviour by watching adults, it is often referred to as the Bobo doll experiment. Hope this helps.
