Whoop whoop - yayy Explain what it means to have a duty of care in my own work role

Speaking of being helpful i am currently on unit 054 outcome 1 have answered Q1 i think correctly Explain what it means to have a duty of care in my own work role- i covered safeguarding , risk assessments in my answer so hoping this is along the right lines ? but am now approaching Q2 Explain how duty of care contributes to the safeguarding or protection of individuals ? if anyone has any pointers i will be very grateful :0) is this along the lines of preventing any type of abuse physical, emotional etc ?
