Default Referral Process Early Years

Hi all

This is my first post... I am so close to sending off my final part of practical coursework, but need some help, please!!

The questions relate to the referral process, however in my setting there has so far been no referral opportunities. Are these common and do you think I can hypothesize? Your thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

21.4: Facilitate the referral process between child or young person and the referral opportunity

21.5 Evaluate the referral process

21.6 Suggest improvements to the referral process int he light of the evaluation

Hi, a warm welcome to the site. Could I ask what would happen if you were required to make a referral?

If you use the actual process that your setting would take in order to support a child & their family's needs you'll be able to complete these criteria xx

Your setting lead or manager might mention its policies and procedures for referral, CAF or TAC, services provided by your local authority eg. early years development, child protection, social workers and professional individuals & teams such as SaLT, health visitors, disability support.

Hth, best wishes
