Default single term entry

hi again
councils which are adopting the single entry into reception class how will it significantly change early years practice. not quite sure what to put i know that in my setting from september we will have children who have not long since turned 4 but my setting works very closely with the nursery already.
any help would be great thanks x

well unless the reception class significantly delivers a play based curriculum with key persons the impact on the children is going to be significant. children should be in a free flow play based environment and not under the control of the head who thinks they need to be 'educated' which is often the way.

thanks tutu i work in reception class and it already is free flow based we link with the nursery so do you think it will be pretty much the same then gioing to ask the eyf teacher tomorrow and thanks you x
