Default Write about the roles of others and the value of their input to you?

Hi everyone

Please help if at all possible.

I am currently studying a distance learning course Specialist Teaching and Learning in Schools Diploma level 3, I have managed to have the first four assignments completed and signed off and I am currently doing the fifth, I have one question left to answer on this assignment but to be honest I can't understand what it is asking, to me it seems more like a health and social care question as it mentions carers? individuals? please could someone clarify what it is asking and how you would set about answering it, What does it mean by carers? individuals? or has the question been mixed up with another course somehow. I don't want the answers specifically just pointing in the right direction. The question is as follows:

Demonstrate how to work with others to review and prioritise own learning needs, professional interests and development opportunities. Write about the roles of others and the value of their input to you. This may include:
the individuals:
other carers:
your supervisor, line manager or employer:
other professionals:

I understand about appraisals and personal development etc but the wording of this question this has thrown me a little!

I have emailed my tutor but so far not had a response.

Any help greatly appreciated and many thanks in advance.

Hi, welcome to the site

Demonstrate how to work with others to review and prioritise own learning needs, professional interests and development opportunities.

Write about the roles of others and the value of their input to you. This may include:

the individuals: consider who has the most influence on your professional interests ( supporting behaviour maybe, therapy, learning needs, disability), how you recognise & prioritise your learning needs & find development opportunities - it might be your mum or a cousin, a local primary headteacher, a friend who's a nurse... what is their role and how valuable is the information & support that they give you?

other carers: depending on your role/position this could be other childminders, nursery setting colleagues, nannies, foster parents, support workers, teaching assistants, anyone who has a responsibility to care for the children or a child & that you have contact with.

your supervisor, line manager or employer:

other professionals: there's a thread here that might help with this - role of others

Hth xx
