Hi, this will involve you looking at your job description and the setting's policies and procedures to identify all the practices you undertake - daily, weekly, monthly, yearly to keep the children in your care safe. ie. your role is as an early years practitioner whose care for children will ensure they have the opportunity to explore, develop, learn and stay safe. Responsibilities will include to follow the setting's policies and procedures, work in partnership with parents and other professionals, how you check the environment to make sure it's a safe one.

There's detailed reading in unit 3.3 of this handbook on amazon.co.uk

Hth

Include the unit's title and members will help where they can.
