What happens when you are laid off??

Hi Everyone

Have just found out today that I will not have a job to go back to in September at the pre-school I have been working at for the last 12 months due to a drop in numbers. I started my NVQ 3 in Children and Young People in May and have so far completed 1 assignment and 2 observations.
I would love to carry on the course as I self-funded it out of my own savings but not sure if I can carry on as I thought there was a requirement to the course you had to be employed for 16hours a week?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thank you

Hi, sorry for the delay replying and for the redundancy xx

You'll need to speak to your course provider as soon as possible & see what requirements are still outstanding for your personal situation, then maybe organise a new setting if placement hours are needed.

Best wishes with everything xx
