Default Confused!

can someone just clear up what an Holistic plan is...

my tutor emailed me one thing and what I have researched about is totally different!

on the site I read this ...
Holistic plans cover all aspects of learning & are interlinked for young children. They
include the setting's daily routine and the times of day when outside play happens, how the setting is laid out - how easy it to get outside, are doors left open? does the register/attendance ensure each child goes out? are staff deployed so that they're able to offer assistance when and where needed?

then my tutor emailed me this

Holistic plans are plans that just go with the flow and allow children to express themselves freely but still link to areas of development.

if someone would please clear this up for me it would be great ....

TIA
