Hi, this involves positive relationships and the way you interact with children and young people so you can promote the trust needed for children to feel comfortable, welcome, motivated and inspired to take part. Encouraging active participation is a recognised way to support and extend a child's learning and development - page 193 of the level 3 handbook

Taking account of abiliities, levels of development and understanding means that what your asking, inviting or discussing is relevant - information is given in a way that it's understood, activities are not too easy, not too challenging. It also also uses your attitude and approach to inclusion and the way you adapt things for children to access opportunities for them to learn and develop.
