Default safeguarding unit help

hi everyone,i'am new to this site. i joined because i'am struggling with the 2 new optional units given to me by my assessor (which she chose for me?) i assume she chose them because she thought i could do them but i'am struggling. I'am only doing my level 2 yet she has given me unit 25 for safeguarding at a level 3?! why would i be given a level 3 paper when im only studying level 2? Anyway i feel i'am going to need extra support with this so i'am hoping i can talk to some of you about this unit.

Hi, a warm welcome to the site. It's possible that an optional L3 unit for safeguarding would bring your qualification in line with the expectations of employers, who'll be looking for practitioner's who are comfortable and confident protecting children or be a funding requirement of your local authority.

Your level 2 handbook will have good reading to start with - TDA 2.2 sample chapter from Collins.co.uk

To expand for level 3 look for information in the unit CYP 3.3. Search inside the preview on amazon.co.uk for safeguard the well-being page 109+

Please feel free to ask questions about specific criteria.

Best wishes xx

safeguarding level 3 is not an optional unit on your level 2 . speak to the college don't waste time with the assessor.
