Default LLUK 313 engaging fathers

Hello, just looking for a bit of guidance on:
2.3 explain and demonstrate the use of key communication strategies and/or skills involved in working in partnership with fathers from diverse communities.

Feel like I have already sort of covered this in 2.2 which was strategies for building relationships, but it's also the 'diverse communities' bit which is throwing me!

Any help appreciated thank you!

haven't done this but I would think it would be how do you engage with fathers who have been brought up in a culture where possibly they don't know how to communicate the same with women or where they aren't used to discussing things with strangers. Maybe they have daughters who they believe shouldn't take part in certain activities or the same for boys .

Thanks - it's a bit of a tricky one - first bit is explain how parents are engaged as partners, second is relationship building strategies, third is communication strategies and fourth is confidence building strategies, so they all sort of overlap with each other and I feel like I've repeated myself a lot. On top of that, it's an amalgamation of two units - engaging parents and engaging fathers, just to make it more complicated!

I've used the Fatherhood Institute website quite a bit, amongst others, and although there's a lot out there about engaging fathers generally, not so much that's specific to fathers from diverse communities. Ah well, will submit it to my assessor and see what she says!

Thanks for the advice.
