Default Level 3.. Maths exam

I am due to complete my level 3 in the next few months. I took my English exam and passed and my ict but I'm struggling with my maths exam. I've been told from day one that if I fail my maths then I can't complete my qualification. Today I was told by a different company that they are not allowed to do that anymore and that if I can't do it then I shouldn't be forced to complete it.
I need some advice as I'm stressing over this exam because I know I'm gonna fail again but I need it to complete my course.
Has anyone else had this problem or know what I can do next?
Thanks
Rosie x
