Checking a child for injuries after an indecent of challenging behaviour?

Please help me im on 5.5 of the optional unit - promote positive behaviour. the question is - describe steps that should be taken to check for injuries following an incident of challenging behaviour.

has anybody answered this yet, i personally would just check the child over, pull up sleeves n trouser legs etc.. but legally is this the correct way? im sure i have heard in the past that you are not allowed to just do that? please help xxx

Not sure if it's right but i'd put that they would be checked over by a qualified first aider who wasn't involved in the incident....

Hi
again not sure if it's right but the child needs to be checked for injuries, so why not have a witness/manager in room when you are checking for injuries or call parents for permission to do this.
