I wrote a reflective account about a walking outing at Christmas to the local Carol Service at a nearby church as I havent been on a bus outing as yet!! Just covering my role as Classroom Assistant. That the children were counted in class before leaving room, walked in a line holding hands with a partner to the church, teacher to front, 1 classroom assistant in middle and one helper at the end. This was the 1:10 ratio set by the setting (ie school). all children were advised where they were going and that they should all stay together etc. The children were again counted once we reached destination etc. And led to the main hall and told to sit quietly.

not sure on the question but do you need medical information for the children and adults, emergancy contact details. that the parents have signed forms giving consent?
