you should not need worksheets on a level 3 you should have a good knowledge of development which helps here. how would a phy impairment effect development?? if a child cannot exercise their gross motor skills how will this impact? strength and exercise will be limited wont it? if they have asthma for example how will that effect development?

work your way through them thinking of real life examples which makes it easier.

Hi,

There are a range of development needs that can be affected due to a child having a disability, for example those who have a disability that affects mobility such as cerebral palsy then they are limited at what they can do when it comes to physical activities this can also effect the Childs emotional development as they might get distressed or frustrated as they cannot do the things they want to, some forms of disabilities are more serious than others. Children with disabilities may become discriminated against and this can lead to withdrawal and hurt the child may become distressed and feel left out of activities. Children may lack choices or opportunities and this in time can impact on aspects of their development. The potential impacts of having a disability can result in children and young people having low self-esteem and confidence this can also cause depression and they may experience a poor nature to learning.

Hope this helps.
