Hi this page on Australia's raisingchildren.net.au focusses on autism. If you use the intervention headings more broadly you'll see how they impact on your setting & work - types of intevention

Adult and professional intervention, your knowledge, understanding and ability to raise nonjudgemental questions/concerns/observations.

Another good site to use is CKS

You could examine health, nutrition, access to play, immunisation, speech delay, visual and auditory impairement, ophthalmology & dental health, bereavement, mental health, medication & treatments, diagnosis, recommendations and the professionals that provide specialisms and services.

Interventions record, acknowledge and step in to prevent further harm, aiming to halt any current, which may be emotional and/or physical - development delay. This in turn should ensure children have the support and the freedom they need to achieve.

The physical development area is influenced by the theory by theorist Arnold Gesell. His theory states the majority of physical skills we gain is not taught but is programmed in our genetics.
