Default 1.2 Analyse how integrated working practices and multi-agency working in partnership deliver better outcomes for childre

Hi,

I am stuck on this question, this is what I have so far, but I think I am just jibbering on to be honest! Any help would be great!

Lots of different things are going to influence how an individual approaches any situation, such as their own background, profession, training or previous experience with dealing with a similar situation. Whenever you work in a team, you are all going to bring different ideas and suggestions to the table, as everyone will have a different approach to handling any situation. This is going to be beneficial for the children and young people, as we need to always remember that each child is an individual and different things are going to work for each child.

Also when working together, you can all address multiple factors simultaneously, and if the multi-agency partnership begins soon enough then it could help speed up finding the root cause.

For example, Child B’s mother went to their GP as she was concerned about child B’s lack of speech. Child B began SALT. However, when child B’s begins pre-school, Child B's keyworker say that they had concerns with child B’s Physical Development. SALT and the preschool then begin to work closely with child B’s mother and discover that when child B is at home mum will carry him everywhere, or push him in pushchair, and she only ever speaks to him in ‘baby talk’. With Child B’s mum, SALT and the preschool working together and deciding on some targets for Child B, they can all help child B, by giving him more opportunity to develop his physical development (by walking by himself) and his communication and language skills (by ensuring he hears more social talking, and encouraging him to say words properly). All of the agencies involved would then meet regularly to ensure that the agreed plan was being followed, to assess if the agreed plan was working, or if it needed to be reviewed.

ok nice example but it is an explain not analysis. you need to era the theoretical content of multi agency practice and partnership look at doe of the SCR recommendations esp peter connolly then consider how they can be applied and whether they will work. you need to be talking about CAF and TAC, this is a level 2 answer you need to upgrade it. check the term analyse
