Anyway this is for the CYPW level 3.


2.1 Identify the positive outcomes for children and young people that practitioners should be striving to achieve

I have listed the 5 every child matters outcomes and wrote a paragraph on each one about how we/what we can do to support the children.
E.g.

2. Stay safe- As a practitioner the children safety is the most important priority, we achieve this by following safe grading and health and safety policies. We should also teach children how to keep themselves safe. This can be difficult as we also want children to be able to think for themselves. There are however things we can do to support them during this time. This can include ensuring children and young people are fully aware of danger and consequences of their own actions, such as talking about stranger danger both on and offline, talking to children about what they are doing (activity) and get them to try and think if it is safe or not. This can be done via stories and puppets for younger children and using videos, Power Points and practical activities for older children and young people.

I'm kind of stuck on Make a positive contribution and
Achieve economic wellbeing.

Any ideas?

Me again lol or am I better built pointing what each one includes and writing a sentence or two about how we achieve each one? E.g.

Stay healthy

Physical health- (write about how we promote physical health)
Mental health .........
Sexual health ..........
Etc.

The Early Years Outcomes are another way to see how the 5 from ECM can link to a specific age group making it a little easier to see how children's participation is part of them making contributions to the group and themselves. Achieving economic well-being can be seen as children learning, having opportunities to explore and role play career choices, discover the world around around them - homes, transport, trade, nature..

Yes, being healthy involves physical exercise, fluid & dietary choices, dental care, eye care, sexual health, mental health.
