Hi, welcome to the site. If you include the title of the unit and the criteria that you're having problems with I'm sure members will help where they can.

Best wishes

Task A- produce a table or Chart
carry out research in the ways in which BESD are linked with SLCN of CYP
A) the incidence of SLCN and BESD in CYP
B) the range of BESD and SLCN
C) key barriers that children and young people may experience
D) strategies that could be used to overcome the barriers identified in c)

Task B- using both the research and the table, produce a report that analyses the SLCN of children with BESD. The report should;
A) explain why behaviour can be seen as a means of communication
B) explain how SCLN can effect the development of CYP with BESD (give examples from research)
C) explain the impact of different resources, evidence based approaches and strategies to promote positive outcomes for CYP SLCN with BESD
D) explain with role of joined up Woking with parents, staff and other agencies to support positive behaviour and speech, language and communication development.

Hi, to carry out research you can look at the Bercow report and the impact of Speech Language and Communication Needs on children from talkingpoint

The CYPOP 22 unit from communication trust.org.uk will also be useful xx
