Hi, ideally this would be practice your assessor would witness in your setting.
To know how you'd deal with hazards means knowing your work place's policies and procedures.
Consider if risk assessments / daily checks happen to ensure the setting is a safe, healthy and secure one?
What happens in your setting for visitors?
What exit routes could children access and how are they prevented from leaving the premises?
How are fire drills handled?
How is food stored, prepared and served? - food handling regulations
Where are chemicals stored, how and when are they used - COSHH
What protective equipment do you use and wear? - cleaning spills, nappy changing, food handling?
How does a setting guarantee only suitable people are working alongside children?
If you search for the work 'Hazard' in the
amazon preview of the level 3 handbook you'll find some useful reading on pages 145 - 148 & 276
