Default HELP!!!! Unit 12 .1 - Understand the purposes and principles of early years frameworks.

I have a couple weeks left to finish and so much work to do!
im completely stuck on this any useful help would be much appreciated please!!!

1.Explain the legal status of the EYFS.

2.Explain the four themes of the EYFS (2012) and how they identify the key issues in childcare.

3.Explain how this affects what you do in your setting.

4.Describe how the EYFS (2012) sets the foundations for learning and development in the National Curriculum Key Stage 1.

Hi, you might find this thread helpful for the first criteria: http://www.silkysteps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19648 and if you read the 'About this statutory framework ' on the first few pages of EYFS 2014 , it introduces itself, explaining what the legal status is - statutory, mandatory, what laws the framework refers to, who it impacts and why.

For the other 3 criteria, contact your tutor or assessor to check if you ought to be using the EYFS 2012 framework when the 2014 iteration is the the current legal requirement.

Best wishes
