Help SOS bit of help please? brain mashed....

im currently re-doing my level 3 diploma. im doing a task at the moment and iv just keep reading and reading it but my brain is mashed... the questions are identify the importance of protecting children from harm. and identify the importance of ways to empower children to protect themselves.

any help and pointers would be greatly appreciated :) thank you
