why is it important to support resilience in children and young people

This question has been making my head spin all day. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Resilience is the ability to deal with the ups and downs of life.
Factors positively affecting child’s resilience –
• Secure early attachments
• Confidence in being loved by family and friends
• Good sense of self-identity
• Ability to act independently
• Confidence to try new things.

I only had to produce revision notes for this unit so didnt go into much detail, but might be a starting point for u. xx
