Hi sorry for being a pain could do with some help on this question my head is a mess.
Give at least 4 difficulties with explanations that may be barriers to effective communication. How can you overcome/minimize these barriers.
Just can t seem to get this knocked on the head going around in circles.

I put visual impairment may prevent a person from reading body language or written communication. Deafness may prevent a person from hearing and background noise may affecet communication. Language communication if a person can't speak the same language as you and Autism may prevent a person communicating through speech and expressing themselves hope this helps a bit i have done this one good luck.

Hi, this is my first time on the site.am doing the same STL3 and am on 3.1. this is what I hav at the moment.
Speech impairment such as stammer can affect the way they communicate so it is important to take your time when communicating with them and allow them to take their time and not finish what they are saying. Using of body language is also vital so they know you are listening to them and ensure other children do not mimick them.
Children and young people with cognitive and learning difficulties take longer to develop language skills and this affects their learning because they find it difficult to store and process information. The way to adapt communication to benefit children with cognitive and learning difficulties is e.g.’ chaining activities which will help with their organisational skills and it involves encouraging the children to think about the next step when working through series of action.

Children with sensory impairment such as deafness or deaf/blindness, are at a disadvantage when communicating so to adapt communication with this impairment, they will need some means of communication by using sign language or Braille .It is also important to adapt the learning environment to suit all the children’s needs. With hearing Impairment it is very important to maintain good eye contact at all times and to speak clearly so lips can be read and avoid shouting.
hope it helps.
Please how do you post a question. not sure where to type. thx
